Welcome to the Social Media Events Toolkit

Following the two workshops held at the Centre for Research in the Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities (CRASSH) we now present the second part of our project. This is the how-to guide or manual on cross-medial event management based mainly on the workshops but also with additional research, particularly with respect to producing art, research, teaching, learning, and performance as well as building social, professional and personal contexts in such cross-reality situations.

The supporting materials for the original workshops, that include many links to tools, instructional videos and texts and case studies:

Workshop 1

Workshop 2

These links include sections on metrics, which is not included in the toolkit due to the rationale described in the introduction ‘Mediating with the Digital Professionally’.

We hope this guide is helpful in your exploration and professional use of digital media.
